Sociable Babies
Sociable babies is an 8-week programme for parents/carers of babies aged 6 weeks to about 3 months, which aims to help you learn to communicate and understand your baby and how you can promote their healthy development.
Each week we will look at a different area of development and have examples of things that you can do with your baby. Examples include using songs and rhymes to promote speech and language development and baby massage to help your baby become more settled.
We also look at how the baby’s brain develops so quickly in the early days and how parents can positively help this.
We hope that you will learn activities to do with your baby that you both enjoy doing together.
Parents really enjoy the group as time out each week to focus on their baby and soon get excited by their homework which is to notice what their baby has learnt to do new in the past week.
