Forest Explorers is a fun outdoor programme for children aged 1-4, giving little ones the chance to explore, play and learn in a natural environment. Sessions are designed to encourage curiosity, confidence and hands-on discovery through outdoor play.
Children will have opportunities to enjoy fresh air, natural materials, simple activities and time to explore with their parent or carer in a relaxed Sure Start setting.

What is Sure Start?
Sure Start is a government-funded programme supporting families with children from pregnancy to age 4. We offer play sessions, parenting support, health services and family support, all designed to give your child the best possible start in life.
Who can use Splash Sure Start?
Families with children aged 0-4 living in eligible areas of Craigavon, including Brownlow, Drumgor, Taghnevan, Legahory and surrounding wards. Not sure if you're eligible? Apply to a programme and we will be able to tell you ASAP
Do I need to pay for anything?
No all our services are completely funded by the Department of Education to support local families
Can I come if I'm pregnant?
Absolutely! Our Bump to Baby programme is specifically for expectant parents, and you're welcome at many of our sessions before baby arrives.
Where are you based?
We're on the first floor of the Legahory Centre, Craigavon, BT65 5BE. There's free parking and the building is fully accessible.
How do I register?
Fill in our quick registration form and we'll be in touch within a few days to confirm your place. You can also call us on 028 3834 1919 or pop in to the centre.
